We continue publishing Osvaldo Pugliese’s recordings from the 1950s and concentrate on the vinyl issues on the record label Odeon. This is the second volume with 8 tracks issued on 10″ vinyl at around 1953. All titles recorded after 29/11/1952 are most likely based on dual masters, one on a metal disk for the shellac production and one on tape for the vinyl issue. TTT3 is the first volume in this series, all consecutive albums will be declined with a dot seperator, like the current album which is TTT3.2. Compared to the shellac versions, the vinyl tracks sound slightly different, most likely due to a different mastering process and the tape support. Above all they have very few surface noise. Once we have published the remaining albums, we will add our release notes with more details about this project.
