The present restoration project makes available as high resolution downloads the complete 68 recordings of Pedro Laurenz and his orchestra made at the RCA Victor, Odeon and Pathé labels in Buenos Aires between 1937 and 1949. We also included all 12 vinyl titles from the LP record issued in 1968 by the Pedro Laurenz Quintet under the Microfon label. This is the album release containing all restored tracks.

One of the greatest bandoneonist of all times in a new pristine sound quality.
I had to collect at least four labels to complete a quite heterogen compilation of most of his recordings. Now all these recordings, and a few more, are available a few clicks away from you.
The quality of the transfers is overwhelming and will fits the requirements of any sound system (from the big ones you will find in serious dance halls to your computer speakers! ), the tagging is meticulous and the quality of the transfers impressively consistent (remember the problems a DJ can have trying to mix four different labels). But the most important part is: you will probably discover Laurenz anew. After twenty years of tango it was for me a refreshing and moving experience.

Apart from being great songs, they sound like later recordings, as there has been an amazing work done on these transfers. According to tangdj.at database, most of these songs is the best version on any given media.
