A new website for Tango Time Travel

Website launch — 25 September 2026

The new Tango Time Travel website went live on 25 September 2026. We have rebuilt the site’s theme and custom logic around WordPress and WooCommerce, bringing a more coherent experience to the catalogue, the shop and your account. Existing customer accounts, orders and download entitlements were preserved through the transition.

A new design, with images adapted to your browser

The redesigned pages bring the recordings, their stories and the catalogue into a shared visual style. Images are served through the HTML <picture> element, offering AVIF first, then WebP, with PNG or JPEG as a fallback. Your browser selects a supported version from the available sources.

Clearer audio format choices

The format selector makes it easier to keep your choice consistent while browsing albums and individual recordings. The guide points most DJs towards 44.1 kHz / 16-bit. An expert option leaves the choice of high-resolution formats to listeners and editors who know what their software and workflow require.

UPDATES in your account

The UPDATES section brings together recording updates available for eligible previous purchases. Access follows your existing purchase entitlements and the formats covered by them.

Search by composer and lyricist

The new search also covers composers and lyricists, alongside titles, orchestras, singers and recording years. It offers another way into the collection, whether you are looking for a particular recording or following the work of a songwriter.

Revised legal documents

We have also revised the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Music Files Licence.

Update — 27 September 2026: ALAC 96 kHz / 24-bit returns

ALAC 96 kHz / 24-bit is available again across the album catalogue, including the special editions, alongside FLAC 96 kHz / 24-bit. The ALAC files retain the audio without loss, together with the track metadata and embedded artwork.

ALAC and FLAC provide two lossless choices for high-resolution listening and editing. Choose the format supported by your player and workflow; support for 96 kHz / 24-bit files depends on the software and equipment you use.
