Terms of use and sale

Last revised: · Version 2026-09-22.1.

Who we are

Tango Time Travel is a project operated by Moving Art Studio ASBL, a Belgian non-profit association. Our contact address is 51 rue de l’Instruction, 1070 Brussels, Belgium; enterprise/VAT number BE0451807885. Contact: info@tangotimetravel.be. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Moving Art Studio ASBL.

These terms cover our website and online shop. The Music Files Licence explains permitted uses of purchased recordings. The Refund policy explains withdrawal and remedies. The Privacy policy explains how we process personal data; it is not a blanket request for consent.

Recordings and formats

Music is supplied as digital files, not physical records. Product pages describe the recordings and the formats offered. Check that your equipment and software support the selected format. Historical recordings may contain source noise and other limitations; this does not remove your rights if the files are defective or do not match their description.

Your order identifies the formats purchased. Changing your preferred format for future purchases does not change the rights attached to earlier orders. A permitted local conversion does not entitle you to a different master or a higher-resolution download. Contact us about an accidental format selection; any voluntary exchange is separate from remedies for a wrong file supplied by us.

Prices, orders and payment

Review your selection, billing details, applicable taxes and total before placing a paid order. The checkout identifies the accepted payment methods and the amount payable. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. A failed or pending payment is not confirmation of successful supply.

The order confirmation records your purchase. Keep that confirmation and the terms provided with it. If payment succeeds but your download is unavailable, contact us with the order number; do not place a duplicate order to solve a delivery problem.

Downloads and recording updates

Use the download links issued for your purchase and, where available, your account’s Downloads section. Re-downloading files already included in your order does not carry a new purchase charge. Our current offer includes a limit of five downloads for each downloadable file supplied with the purchase. Access conditions and rights granted with earlier orders remain unchanged; this revision does not reduce them. Contact us if a link has expired or a technical failure has prevented you from obtaining your files.

TTT is not a backup service for customers. Download your purchased files, store them safely and keep your own private backup copies as permitted by the Music Files Licence. The right to use a lawfully acquired copy is distinct from the availability of our download service. We do not promise perpetual hosting through this notice, and this does not override commitments made at purchase or statutory rights.

UPDATES in your account lists published recording updates relevant to your purchases and available download permissions. An update does not automatically grant additional formats or a new commercial edition. Contact us if you cannot access a correction needed to resolve a defect; ordinary link expiry does not remove your statutory remedies.

Withdrawal and statutory rights

Consumers normally have 14 days from the conclusion of a digital-content contract to withdraw. For immediate supply, loss of this right requires your prior express request to start supply during that period, your acknowledgement that the right will be lost once supply begins, and the legally required confirmation on a durable medium. Visiting this website, accepting general terms or downloading a file does not by itself establish that all these requirements have been met. Where they have not been met, we do not rely on this exception to refuse a statutory withdrawal.

For details and a withdrawal template, see the Refund policy. The rules for faulty or non-conforming files apply separately, including after downloading.

Gift cards

You may cancel a gift-card purchase within 14 days of purchase while its code has neither been communicated to you or the recipient nor used. Once the code has been communicated or any amount has been used, or after this 14-day period, gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where required by law. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. A confirmation email without a usable code is not delivery of the gift card.

Gift cards are delivered by email on the selected date, subject to payment confirmation. Please check the recipient details before ordering. A scheduled email is not itself delivery. If a usable code is made available earlier in an account, document or separate message, that earlier communication must also be taken into account.

To request cancellation or exercise any applicable statutory right, use our withdrawal form or email info@tangotimetravel.be with the purchase reference. We review the delivery and use history. Before an accepted refund, we cancel pending delivery and deactivate the code. Refunds are made to the original payer through the original payment method unless otherwise agreed as permitted by law.

These gift-card conditions are separate from the consent for immediate music downloads. Acceptance of this policy does not waive mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for a defective or undelivered card. Existing purchases retain the terms applicable when they were made.

Gift cards are vouchers for purchases, not music files themselves. This revision introduces no new expiry date. Keep the code secure.

Website content and discographies

The TTT discographies are available under CC BY-SA 4.0 within the scope stated in the Discographies section. That licence governs their copying, adaptation and redistribution and takes precedence over conflicting general website restrictions for the material it covers.

Music files are subject to the Music Files Licence. Release-note texts are © Tango Time Travel — Moving Art Studio ASBL and are not licensed under Creative Commons. Images and other third-party material retain their respective rights. Nothing here restricts public-domain material or uses permitted by applicable law.

You may link to our public pages without suggesting endorsement or affiliation. Do not use the website to infringe rights, distribute unlawful material or interfere with security. If you submit a review or comment, you permit us to display it with that discussion and to moderate unlawful or abusive content; you remain responsible for the content you submit.

Contact, applicable law and disputes

Please first contact info@tangotimetravel.be with your order number and the issue. If a consumer complaint remains unresolved, information and a request form are available from the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service. This does not prevent you from taking legal action.

Belgian law governs these terms. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory provisions that would apply without this choice of law. Jurisdiction is determined by the applicable rules, including consumer-protection rules; these terms do not impose exclusive Brussels jurisdiction on every consumer. No provision excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Revision history and legal references

21 September 2026 — legal and editorial revision. Replaced generic website wording with provisions for music downloads; corrected the Netherlands/Belgium inconsistency; clarified formats, the current five-download limit, customers’ own backup responsibility, existing access rights and gift cards; added the discography CC exception and separate release-note copyright.

Consumer-law update: distinguished withdrawal from the statutory digital-content guarantee, reflecting Belgian rules applicable since 1 June 2022 and EU Directive 2019/770. Dispute-resolution update: replaced obsolete model-language approaches with current Belgian mediation information; the EU ODR platform closed on 20 July 2025. Language: corrected grammar and standardised English terminology.

SPF Economy: online sales and digital supply; SPF Economy: digital-content guarantees; Directive (EU) 2019/770.

This revision does not retrospectively impose new burdens on earlier purchases. Rights and contractual commitments already acquired remain protected.
